popular questions

  • When should I book my bridal hair and makeup?
Our calendar fills quickly, especially during peak wedding seasons (May-June & September-November). We recommend securing your bridal beauty services 10-16 months in advance to ensure availability for your date.

How do I book Jazmin Rae Bridal for my wedding?
Booking is simple. Submit an inquiry through our website, and we’ll confirm availability. Once you receive your custom proposal, a signed contract and a 14% retainer officially secure your date. From there, our automated, stress-free process keeps you informed every step of the way—no need to follow up constantly.

    Do you offer bridal trials?
Yes! Bridal trials are highly recommended so we can perfect your natural, polished, and timeless bridal look. These take place at our studio in Philadelphia’s suburbs and include a full consultation. Trials are scheduled on weekdays (Tues-Thurs) and should be booked 2-4 months before your wedding.

Can I book a trial before securing my wedding date?
Sure! A trial is a great way to experience our artistry before committing to full wedding services. However, your wedding date is not held until a contract and retainer are received, so we recommend securing your date first to avoid availability issues. Also, our booking minimum includes a trial, so you will ultimately end up with two trials if going this route.

What should I bring to my bridal trial?
Bring inspiration photos that align with your desired look, your veil or accessories, and wear a white or neutral top to help visualize the final result. Arrive with clean, dry hair and a makeup-free, moisturized face.

What’s included in the bridal makeup and hairstyling service?
All bridal makeup applications include a luxury skin prep and optional false lashes for a flawless, long-lasting finish. Bridal hairstyling includes secure styling that holds through every dance, whether it’s soft waves, a chic updo, or an effortless, modern style.

How does the wedding morning schedule work?
We provide a custom wedding morning schedule so everything flows seamlessly. Services begin early, depending on the ceremony time, and we ensure every member of your bridal party is ready without stress. You’ll receive a schedule and beauty prep guide in advance.

How many people can you accommodate for hair and makeup?
Our team is experienced in working with large bridal parties. We can accommodate bride + 5 with a single artist or a larger bridal party by bringing additional stylists. If needed, we can add extra artists for a more efficient schedule (additional fees apply).

Can I request a specific artist for my wedding day?
Jazmin Rae Bridal is a collective of trusted artists trained in our signature style. While we cannot guarantee a specific artist, we ensure that every member of our company delivers high-quality, natural, and polished bridal beauty consistent with our brand.

    Do you offer on-location services?
Yes! We travel for wedding day services. Travel fees apply based on location, and destination weddings require customized pricing.

Do you offer hair and makeup for bridesmaids, moms, and guests?
Yes! We offer full beauty services for the bride, bridal party, and VIP guests, ensuring everyone looks cohesive and elegant in wedding photos.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Retainers are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you need to cancel or adjust your booking, refer to your contract for details on rescheduling fees and policies.

  • Do you offer makeup and hairstyling for events other than weddings?
Yes! We provide professional hair and makeup for bridal showers, baby showers, engagement sessions, professional headshots, corporate branding shoots, maternity photos, and special occasions.

How far in advance should I book for a special event?
We recommend booking at least 3-4 weeks in advance, especially during peak wedding season. Last-minute availability is limited.

Where do special event services take place?
Non-wedding services are either studio-based or on-location with a travel fee.

What should I expect from my photoshoot beauty session?
Photoshoot makeup is customized for professional cameras and lighting, ensuring a polished, photo ready look that enhances your natural beauty. Hair styling is designed to hold throughout the session.

What if I need my beauty services to last all day?
We use long-wearing, high-performance products, but if you need touch-ups throughout the day (for photoshoots, events, or wardrobe changes), you can book a half day or full day package.

  • Do you offer airbrush makeup?
Yes! Airbrush offers lightweight, long-lasting, and flawless coverage—perfect for all-day wear. Please note that not every makeup artist with the company carries this option, so please request this in advance.

What if I don’t wear much makeup?
Our approach to bridal and event beauty is enhanced, natural glam—we focus on bringing out your best features while keeping the look soft and effortless. If you’re unsure, we can customize a minimal, glowing look tailored to your comfort level.

Can I show you inspiration photos?
Absolutely! We love to see your vision. Keep in mind that makeup and hair translate differently on every face and hair type, so we will adapt styles to best suit your features, hair texture, and personal preferences.

Do you work with all skin tones and hair types?
Yes! Our team is trained and experienced in working with all ethnicities, skin tones, and hair textures to ensure every client looks and feels amazing.

Should I wash my hair before my appointment?
Yes! Arrive with clean, dry hair. Hair should be washed the night before and blown dry without heavy product use.

    Do you provide hair extensions?
We do not provide hair extensions, but we can style clip-in extensions if you bring them to your appointment. Extensions should be 100% human hair for the best results.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept credit cards, Venmo, or PayPal. Final balances are due before the event date as outlined in your contract.
